Marc Ernay was living out his childhood dream as 1010 WINS Sports Director and morning drive anchor, positions he had held since 2012, when in 2025 he became a 'free agent' and turned to more podcasting, focused on the joy of soccer.
Marc is a modern-day “Magellan,” covering multiple Super Bowls, World Series, MLB All Star Games, NBA and NHL Finals, Big East, Big Ten, ACC, and NCAA basketball tournaments, US Open Tennis Championships, and big-time golf tournaments, including The PGA Championship and US Open. He also hosted the "On the Marc" video and podcast series and and manned the finish line” in Central Park for 1010 WINS’ annual coverage of the New York City Marathon. Marc’s favorite on-air moments were covering the Giants’ victories in Super Bowls XLII & XLVI, and he was crushed to be in Los Angeles on the day of MLS Cup 2024 but unable to attend the match.. Marc is a graduate of Hofstra University who is also a Play by Play announcer for: * NY Boulders (Frontier League Baseball) * St. Thomas Aquinas College (multiple sports, including Soccer) * Manhattan University (Baseball, Basketball, and Soccer) * Wagner College (Football and Basketball) * St. John’s University (Baseball and Soccer) And previously: * St. Francis (Brooklyn) College (multiple sports, including Soccer) * Fairleigh Dickinson University (Baseball and Volleyball) * US Open (Tennis) He is also currently an Adjunct Professor at William Paterson University and has taught at St. Francis College, St. John’s University, Hofstra University, and Fairleigh Dickinson University. |
Sean Cassels is an award-winning producer and creative with a career spanning Film/TV, Animation, XR, Education, Live Events and Marketing. His work blends storytelling and strategy, with projects recognized by international film festivals, industry awards, and even Off-Broadway.
Sean was VP of Development at LeFrak Productions, contributing to Lifetime TV’s Student Seduction; The Head Producer at the Plum TV’s Hamptons studio; he produced Kendra Cunningham’s comedy special Meatball Therapy (now streaming on Apple TV, Amazon Prime, and Google Play). His independent films have screened at The Nice International Film Festival, Sweden Film Awards, Stockholm City Film Fest, Dumbo Film Fest, NY Dog Film Festival, Portland Phoenix Comedy Festival, and the Metro Channel/Angelika Film Festival. Sean has also built an extensive body of educational media, producing learning series for Baltimore and New York City Public Schools, and creating VR content for universities, museums, and blue chip corporations. He has produced multi-platform campaigns for Fortune 500 companies including General Motors, Siemens, Philips, and Allstate; that have won Telly, Transform, PR News, Hermes Creative, and AVA Digital Awards. Some of his biggest campaigns have announced landmark corporate mergers. In addition, Sean has directed Off-Broadway plays, Music Videos, and VR experiences. This mix of creative vision and strategic impact defines his approach: using storytelling as a tool to inform, engage, and influence. His latest project, The UltraWorld Podcast, is a natural extension of his passion for global storytelling. Inspired by his love of soccer, the podcast explores the culture and pageantry of international fandom, designed to connect new audiences with the beautiful game. Sean holds a degree in Biology from Duke University and was a High School All-American swimmer. |
